The biggest thing I have learned is you must first take care of yourself, before you are able to help others. You must understand your triggers and why they trigger you. Try to have an outlet to balance yourself when emotions pop up. You may desperately want to help others, but you must remember, you cannot pour from and empty cup. Learning to control your life is as important as assisting others in their struggle. It takes a great deal of work.

I get it!!! We all experience tough moments from time to time; however, it is important to remember that tough times do not last forever. Just remember, you have nothing to lose but your mental blocks! who would not want that. I have had to dig myself out of the trenches, many times. If I can do it, anyone can. It is a matter of taking time for yourself and not feeling guilty because you addressed your needs. Just remember, you are just as important as your neighbor. In addition, if your neighbor valued you, he/she would understand that your sanity is important, as well.

You are not alone. Let us do this together; we are a team of loving Christians, are we not? You got this! I got this! We got this! Let us pull our bootstraps up and keep moving on…under the Guidance of the Almighty God.

Love, Light and Peace Be unto You.
