Trump and Paxton
Felon 34 times over Donald Trump with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton,in 2019.

Former reality TV star and one-time resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Donald Trump, also known by his new moniker, “34,” shared with the public that he’s considering another white nationalist with legal issues for the U.S. Attorney General position.

Yes, 34 said he’d actually name Ken “walking felony indictment” Paxton to be the nation’s top cop if Trump wins a second term in the White House.

Trump even called Paxton, who narrowly escaped being impeached by his own white nationalist (GOP) Texas Legislature brethren and sistren, “a very talented guy.”

Jailbirds of a feather

And why wouldn’t Trump make such an assessment? Paxton successfully did what Trump has done his entire entitled and nefarious life – avoid being held accountable for his crimes.

Remember, Paxton faced impeachment last year for “allegedly” accepting bribes and abusing the power of his office to help a wealthy friend and campaign donor. And wouldn’t you know, the person serving as “judge” for Paxton’s Texas Senate impeachment trial (Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick) received a $3 million “donation” (which apparently means “bribe” in Texanese) from a Paxton-friendly PAC. So, it’s no surprise Kenny-Ken-Ken was acquitted. But it sho’ don’t mean he was innocent. And that’s just how 34 likes ‘em .… dirty.

And in direct contradiction to the belief that “people get what’s coming to them,” Paxton also saw prosecutors agree in March to drop three felony counts of securities fraud that had loomed over him for nearly his entire tenure as the top law enforcement officer in the Lone Star State.

If Paxton and his potential pimp, Trump, lived in a world where truth, justice and fairness were the norm, both would have long been thrown in jail. But here we are, with Trump having a real possibility of taking the White House again and his felonious friend Paxton by his side policing U.S. citizens as only a law-breaking fiend can.

What does it all mean?

Let’s take a quick look back at history.

Central Park Five
Trump infamously called for the execution of the Central Park Five, the Black and Latino teenagers wrongfully convicted of a crime they didn’t commit and subsequently exonerated. /

Trump called for the “Central Park 5” (five Black and Brown teenagers falsely accused, convicted and imprisoned for a crime they didn’t commit) to be executed. After the person who actually committed the crime for which those five served prison time, and after they were eventually exonerated, Trump continues to this day to say they should be executed.

That’s what he thinks of Black and Brown people … if you didn’t already know this from the lawsuit against Trump and his KKK-member dad for housing discrimination (refusing to sell properties to Black folk).

The list of Black women (U.S. lawmakers, judges, children and spouses of judges, U.S. attorneys, civic leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, etc.) that Trump has attacked, demeaned and disrespected is far too long for show here.

During the “Black Lives Matter” protests Trump was on record asking his advisers why he can’t just order law enforcement to shoot protesters. And please remember, the only protesters Trump wants to shoot and sick the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines on are Black and Brown protesters.

On the flip side, Trump called the white domestic terrorists in Charlottesville “very good people” and classified the hoard of violent Jan. 6 insurrectionists as freedom fighters and those arrested as political prisoners.

Unequal Opportunity Denigrator

Additionally, Trump wants to end Obamacare, meaning millions of folks (most of them white, by the way, but also a whole lot of us) will lose health care access.

Trump is in lockstep with Netanyahu’s goal to wipe out all Palestinians. He rejects student loan forgiveness, and seeks to allow polluting corporations to have free reign to further destroy the air, water and land we depend on for life.

He’s behind those who have moved to end affirmative action, DEI and HBCUs. He’s for the continued exploitation of the Congo, Haiti and any other place he’s deemed a “sh*thole country.” He’s endorsed “cop cities” across the country where police go to perfect the art of cracking Black skulls.

And a quick look or a deep dive into Paxton’s record shows that he’s on board with all this anti-Blackness.

So, why are any Black people at all thinking about rolling with this person who wants to roll over Black people? Beats me.

But what I do know is, Trump and Paxton’s anti-Blackness coupled with the Project 2025 anti-democracy political playbook, the future for Black people will look more like the 1600s – 1800s.

And to top it off, Trump is toying with the idea of naming Greg Abbott as his VP, making it a trifecta of terror – the Three Stooges of threats to our well-being.
