I saw a thing about this. A grandmother had squatters living in her house after she went into a nursing home. Her grandson was trying to get them out but they refused and the police couldn’t do anything. He decided to get them out by any legal means necessary. He signed a rental contract with his grandmother. He watched the house for all the them to leave. Once they left he went into the house, removed all of their belongings, changed the locks and waited for them to return. They actually called the police and they came out. He showed them his rental contract and the police said they he was allowed to be there. The squatters loaded up their belongings and left. Renters have more rights than the legal owners do so he used the system.
