I sold her house when she went into care 10 years ago not knowing she had left it to my sister in her will. What will happen now that she has passed?

This is one for a lawyer. I am guessing the house was sold to pay for her extended care. No one really expects to be in care for 10 years and it is very expensive. The house was her way to pay for that. I don’t see what can possibly be done. Who has the copy of the will ? A person’s final expenses come first and then the rest can be divided to the family. It is an unfortunate situation, but you need a lawyer’s help.
