He was secured to the train tracks; his leash appeared to be nailed to the wooden sleeper that connects the two rails.

The city of San Antonio Animal Care Services received a call regarding a Golden Labrador unable to move from the tracks.

Upon his arrival, Animal care officer David Edwards could tell the animal was unable to free himself from the tracks.

The canine didn’t know to trust the officer, so he required the use of a humane catch pole in order to be freed.

As one might see in a old western movie, the officer could hear the approaching train.

The animal was freed immediately from the tracks and walked with the officer toward the transport vehicle.

The train then sped past as the officer closed the transport vehicle door.

The dog “Lucky” has been transported to the shelter and is available for adoption!!
