He was my boyfriend’s dog but he became my big baby too. I woke up Friday morning to see his kennel and him gone and a huge vacant spot in our living room. I immediately called him and asked where King was and his reply was, “He’s gone, Alesha.” I stood there frozen with emotions because I knew it was getting close to time but I figured I’d get to be there or at least say goodbye. He made the decision to ease him over rainbow bridge Friday morning when he woke up to let him out and his hind legs wouldn’t hold him and he urinated on himself.

He told me it was something that had to be done that was between him and his 12 yr old Rottweiler. He said seeing me cry would have made it even harder. Especially since August 30th makes a yr since I had to make the same decision for my 14 yr old Pom.

I know it was a very personal time for him and King but I just feel so bad that I wasn’t there too. Keep us in prayer. 😪

Long Live King! 👑
