FAR-RIGHT ALEX JONES FROM INFOWARS HAS BEEN REACTIVATED AND CALLS FOR 25TH AMENDMENT TO REMOVE TRUMP

President Donald Trump is facing backlash from a once-outspoken supporter amid his escalating threats against Iran.

During the Monday, April 6, episode of his self-titled show, longtime MAGA ally and right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked against Trump.

The 25th Amendment lays out a process by which Vice President JD Vance and the majority of Trump’s Cabinet could declare the president “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office” and involuntarily remove him from power. In that instance, Vance would be elevated to acting president, and if Trump challenged the move, Congress could make the final decision.

During the episode of The Alex Jones Show, guest and former attorney Robert Barnes shared his belief that “Trump has lost his mind.”

“I mean literally, what we should do is have Vice President Vance tackle him, take him to the basement of the White House, that new bunker they’re building under the ballroom,” Barnes said.

“Tackle Trump, put him in the basement, let him watch nonstop videos of how great he is, and then Vance gets the hell out of this,” Barnes continued.

Barnes went on to suggest that if any volatility continues, “this is on the verge of being World War III.”

That’s when Jones, 52, interjected with a pointed question: “How do we 25th Amendment his ass?” Barnes suggested that invoking the 25th Amendment would be harder than impeaching a president.

“So what do we do?” Jones asked, leading Barnes to brainstorm a plan about filing public reports that Trump’s health is a concern. “Tackle Trump and let him pretend he’s president and publicly report that he’s going through a health issue and let Vance take over,” Barnes said. “It literally needs to be something like that, it’s that bad.”

Jones’ and Barnes’ remarks came one day after Trump posted a profanity-laced message on Truth Social on Easter morning.

On Sunday, April 5, the president said, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy b——s, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”

“He’s threatening an extinction level event for the people of Iran tomorrow. Does nobody think there’ll be any blowback on that?” Barnes reacted to his messaging. “If he follows through on that, the whole world is screwed.”

Jones then told listeners that the most “insane” part of Barnes’ remarks are that they aren’t “over-exaggerated or high.”

Hours after The Alex Jones Show aired, Trump raised the stakes with Iran again, posting on Tuesday morning, “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”

Trump’s Tuesday post prompted another MAGA ally turned critic, former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, to similarly call for the president’s involuntary removal.

“25TH AMENDMENT!!!” she posted on X. “Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness.”

Jones’ criticism of the president is a noted shift in the MAGA sentiment, though he has long been known to fan the flames of divisions. Over the years, he has used his platform to promote a range of unfounded conspiracy theories with real-world consequences.
