My husband beats me severely at least 2 times a week. My 9 year old son is very afraid of him. Last time he broke my nose and it’s crooked now. What should I do?Get away from him. That’s what you should and need to do. When he is at work, or away, pack up your memorable items (clothes, documents, money, etc.) and get the hell out. Make sure your child has everything he needs. I would also fill a restraining order against this man. To have the audacity to abuse you infront of his own child is messed up. Because of his actions, he won’t have a relationship with his father anymore. Get your sun a physiologist and a therapist and talk to one together about how you are going to turn your life around.
