AXE WIELDER: DEAD OR ALIVE
If your home was invaded by an armed burglar and your family are about to be slaughtered by the burglar using a deadly weapon like an axe, can you just shoot the burglar in his thighs to incapacitate him? Could you be in trouble with the cops?

Here at the Schadenfreude Self Defense Institute, we teach that, in this particular case, you must aim for the femoral nerve. This nerve supplies movement and sensation to the front of your thigh, knee, and leg. It also helps you bend your hip and flex your knee. Severing this nerve will surely incapacitate your attacker.

(Note: Under no circumstances must you aim for the femoral artery, .002mm away, ,which will make a huge mess and stains in your carpet that you will never get out.)

Other lesser-known self defense organizations still maintain that you should aim for center mass, for reasons unknown to us.

The cops will not care where you shoot an ax wielding attacker, as long as it’s not in the back as he’s running away down the street.
